Special Education Teacher

The Student Support Department (SSD) is looking for a highly qualified Special Education Teacher with previous experience in delivering individualized intervention to join our expanding team of multi-disciplinary professionals. Utilizing a Response-to-Intervention (RtI) Model, the primary role of the Special Education Teacher is to provide Tier 3/intensive intervention directly to students as well as design individualized education for students that require increased support, curricular modification, and explicit instruction.

Elementary Drama Teacher

Middle School MYP Coordinator

The Middle School MYP Coordinator at Stamford American International School works closely the High School MYP Coordinator, the Director of Curriculum and other IB Coordinators to develop and implement the MYP Programme and maintain continuity through the Programmes in the school. In addition to working with the Curriculum office, s/he works closely with the Middle School Principal and teachers who are involved in the MYP. Major areas of responsibility include overall programme development including the Action and Service programme and implementation and planning for professional development including coaching and mentoring of teachers within the programme. Admissions Manager

The Admissions Manager has the core responsibility to be a brand ambassador for Stamford, who understands the school's value proposition, and appreciates individual parent and student needs to effectively sell the school to prospective families. He/she is the main point of contact for the parent as they go through the process of deciding whether to join Stamford. The incumbent needs to develop a deep understanding of individual parent and student needs and appropriately tailor the approach to each situation to provide a personalised experience and drive a high rate of conversion. AV Specialist/Assistant AV Specialist

The major responsibility of the AV Specialist (AV/Theater) is to ensure that the quality and functioning of audio and visual equipment within the school and maintain the operations of such equipment at several venues such as the theater, iLearns and outdoor events. The AV Specialist (AV/Theater) must be familiar with microphones, speakers, sound systems, recording devices, digital and analog mixing boards, lighting board, promethean boards, projectors.
